About Roshni Malkhan

Roshni lives in a small village located in Central India. There are about five hundred people living in this village. Roshni has two brothers and one sister. Together, they live in a small mud hut with their parents. Her parents are farm laborers and are very poor.
Roshni helps her family by going to the village hand pump every day for water and helps her mother with cooking. Her favorite foods are rice and chicken biryani (a special rice delicacy). Her favorite game is carrom. Her favorite color is blue. She likes to sing and dance, she also loves to wear nice clean clothes. Roshni wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
