About Roshini Agariya
Roshini Agariya lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains and experiences intense heat as well as alternating monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
Her father is a farmer. Her mother is a homemaker and Roshini helps with household chores, fetching water from the well, gardening, and tending livestock. Roshini wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read and enjoys singing along with playing kho-kho and volleyball. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti.
