About Raksha Kushwaha
NOTE: Raksha Kushwaha has graduated from High School and the Mercy Home program in 2021!
THANK YOU, SPONSORS!!!
Raksha comes from a very poor, first-generation Christian family. Her parents work as laborers, but their jobs are unstable and provide a barely sufficient income on which the family must survive. Her father has some health issues and his kidneys are failing, which is an added financial burden on the family. Raksha is in the 9th grade. She wants to become a doctor one day and help sick people. However, without Mercy Home, Raksha would not be able to continue her studies and achieve her dreams, because she would have to quit school and either get a job to make money for the family or get married to someone who could help the family.
Rasha is happy to have an opportunity to be a part of the Mercy Home family! The Mercy Home will help her achieve her dreams and grow spiritually and academically in a safe, godly atmosphere. Rasha loves to sing and enjoys worship time after devotions at the Mercy Home every morning. She also enjoys playing badminton with her new friends. Her favorite foods are simple rice and dhal (lentils).
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Raksha!
