About Priyanka Gound
Priyanka Gound lives with her parents, one brother, and two sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Priyanka helps her parents with fetching water and household chores. Her father is an unskilled low-wage laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Priyanka wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Priyanka and her family. Priyanka needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Priyanka!
