About Prateeksha Maravi
Prateeksha lives with her parents and her sister Rinki in a tiny mud hut in a poor remote village in India. Her mother is a housewife and her father is a farmer. Prateeksha loves to help her mom with household chores such as hand washing their clothes and hanging them to dry, washing the dishes, gathering wood to cook on, and fetching water from the nearby well.
Prateeksha dreams of being a lawyer someday. We pray her dream can come true so that she can help her village, and others like them, who are downtrodden due to their low caste. Her favorite foods are dal, white rice, and porridge. She loves playing games with her friends and enjoys reading, singing, and dancing.
Although they are still Hindu, they explore Christianity and attend church regularly. Prateeksha learns a lot about the God of the Bible. Pray that their family and the entire village would come to know the Lord.
Thank you for bringing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Prateeksha!
