About Pramod Kumar Dhurvay
Pramod lives in a small mud hut with his parents, one brother, Reetesh, and one sister, Abhilasha. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. They live in a very poor remote village in Central India. Pramod enjoys helping with chores around the house. He tends the garden, fetches water in jugs from the local village well, gathers wood for his momma to cook on, and tends their livestock.
Pramod's dream is to be a teacher someday. He enjoys reading and singing. In his limited free time, you will find him playing cricket or volleyball with his friends. He also enjoys playing an Indian game called Kho Kho. He and his family live on a simple diet of dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati (flat Indian bread). On special occasions, they will kill a chicken and enjoy chicken curry. Please pray for Pramod, his family, and his village; this village is generations old Hindus and our dream is that they will come to know the Lord.
