About Piyush Damor
Piyush Damor lives with his parents in a small brick and mud house in a village in West India. This village is located in a mountainous area. The climate in this village is hot and this area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is close by their home.
Piyush helps his parents with household chores. His father is a security guard while his mother is a homemaker. Piyush dreams of becoming an engineer one day. Piyush is in kindergarten; he loves when someone reads to him and he looks forward to learning how to read in school. He enjoys playing cricket with his friends. Piyush and his family live on a simple diet of dal (lentils), white rice, some vegetables, and chapati (flat Indian bread). On special occasions, they will kill a chicken and enjoy chicken curry.
Piyush comes from a Christian family; they are attending church each Sunday and pray together daily. Piyush needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
