About Pawan Yadav
Pawan Yadav lives with his parents, one brother and three sisters in a very small brick and mud house in a village located in the jungles of Central India. The climate in this village is hot and they experience drought seasons. The family uses wood they collect in the jungle as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 50 meters from their home. They gather all of their pots and jugs and carry them to the well each day to fill with water. This is the only source of water for all of the families cooking, cleaning and bathing.
Pawan helps with fetching water the family. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Pawan wants to become a police officer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket with his friends. His favorite foods are vegetables and chapatti.
Although they are still Hindu, the family is attending church each Sunday and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Pawan and his family that they will come to know Jesus as they study the Bible. Pawan needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as shoes and school lunches.
