About Paul Singadiya

Placing on Hold until we know if he is staying for the 2024 - 2025 School year.

Paul grew up in a poor, isolated village located in the jungles of Central India. His parents, along with their eight children, work as farmers and cattle herders. Dedicated Christians, Paul's parents seek to raise their children in the way of the Lord but are hindered by the lack of Christian leaders in their community. Like sheep without a shepherd and limited by their illiteracy, Paul's parents have only the "milk" of the gospel to feed their spiritual needs. They longed for their children to be free from the trap of illiteracy and to grow in spiritual maturity. However, the closest village school is about a 7-mile walk from their home through the jungle trails and dirt roads, making it impossible for kids to attend school during long monsoon seasons.

His parent's dreams came true when Paul and his younger brother, Sailesh, were given the opportunity to live in the Mercy Home. Paul is growing in the knowledge and Truth of Jesus, attending church each Sunday and participating in daily devotions. He studies hard at reading and desires to become a teacher in the future. Instead of herding cattle, Paul spends his free time dancing and playing cricket with his new friends. He also enjoys eating chicken curry and rice.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Paul!
