About Nitu Prajapati
Nitu lives with her mother in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. Her father is deceased. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river and in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 1000 meters from their home.
Nitu helps with fetching water. Her mother is a laborer. Nitu wants to become a social worker one day. She enjoys dancing, singing and reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and soccer. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and chicken.
Nitu comes from a Christian family. They pray together daily. Nitu needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
