About Nidhi Thakur
Nidhi Thakur lives with her parents and two sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle and in a mountainous area where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 200 meters from their home.
Nidhi helps her parents with fetching water and doing other household chores. Her father is a farm laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Nidhi wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), chicken, and chapatti.
Please pray for Nidhi; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Nidhi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Nidhi!
