About Mariyam Dhaloviya

Mariyam is from a remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. She lives with her parents and her brother Ashish Kumar in a small brick and concrete house. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home, which makes getting water each day laborious and time-consuming.

Mariyam comes from a very dedicated Christian family. Her father is a village preacher, he often travels to the surrounding communities to visit believers and to evangelize. Her mother is a homemaker and Mariyam helps her with the household chores, gardening, and tending livestock. Mariyam aspires to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading and singing along with playing kho-kho. Her favorite foods are rice and chicken. Mariyam needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Mariyam!
