About Manish Kharadi
Manish lives with his parents and three sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley, where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They do not have electricity. The water well the family uses is about 1 mile from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
His father is an unskilled low-wage laborer. His mother is a homemaker and even though he is very young, Manish helps his mom with household chores. Manish wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys singing along with playing carom, an Indian board game. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Manish comes from a Christian family; they enjoy going to church each Sunday. Manish needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Manish!
