About Lalta Pal
Lalta Pal lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Lalta helps her parents with gardening and fetching water. Her father is a farmer while her mother is a laborer. Lalta wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and soccer. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Lalta and her family. Lalta needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Lalta!
