About Kanchan Bablu
Kanchan lives in the small village of Gandhigram. It's located atop bluffs overlooking a river. 500 people live in this village. Her parents are farmers. She has two brothers and one sister. They live in a mud house. Her family is first generation Christians.
Kanchan loves helping her mother in the kitchen preparing food for her family. Her personal favorite food to eat is rice, dal (lentils) and roti (flat bread). Dancing and playing traditional Indian games, like carrom, with her friends is something she likes to do everyday.
