About Kala Bai Gound
Kala Bai Gound lives with her parents, one brother, and two sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well they use is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water each day very laborious.
Both of her parents are unskilled low-wage laborers. Kala helps with household chores, carrying water from the well, and cooking meals. Kala wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read and sing and enjoys playing board games and badminton. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti.
Please pray for Kala and her family. Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Kala needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Kala!
