About Jahar Ahirwal
Jahar lives with his parents, grandmother, one brother, and one sister in a tiny brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and humid with heavy monsoon rains in the summer months. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood and cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 100 meters from their home.
Jahar helps with household chores such as gathering firewood, making and drying cow pies, and fetching water in buckets from the well for his mom to use for cooking and cleaning. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Jahar wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys dancing, singing, and reading. He also enjoys playing carom (an Indian game). His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and vegetables.
Please pray for Jahar as he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Jahar needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Jahar!
