About Jagdish Ahirwar
Jagdish is a physically challenged young man. Prior to coming to the Oasis of Love School, he was very depressed but now feels accepted by his peers and loved by his teachers. He is now very helpful and happy and enjoys coming to school riding his tricycle. He has learned stitching in our school and can make beautiful bags, purses, and bottle covers.
On World Handicapped Day he participated in a tricycle race and took first place. Jagdish also took first place in district level games and was selected for state level games. He is also a very accomplished swimmer and in the Paralympic Games he won a bronze medal in the swimming competition. Cooking is also a hobby of his, and it has given him hope of being a chef in the future. He was very happy to get new clothes and supplies for Christmas.
