About Ishwar Lal Ahari
Ishwar is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents, one brother, and two sisters in a small mud-hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, they don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is about two kilometers from their home which means gathering water each day is very laborious and time-consuming.
His parents have a little farm on a small field by their hut. Ishwar helps with gardening, fetching water, and household chores. Ishwar wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading and singing. In his spare time, Ishwar enjoys playing cricket and badminton. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice. Ishwar comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, read the Bible, and pray together daily. Ishwar needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Ishwar!
