About Isha Kol
Isha lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 500 meters from their home.
Isha helps with the gardening. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Isha wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and vegetarian.
Isha comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Isha needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
