About Gurjeet Bagga Singh
Gurjeet Bagga Singh lives with his parents and two brothers in a brick and mud house in a small village located in plains of North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is not too far from their home.
Gurjeet helps his parents with gardening and household chores. His father is a low wage unskilled laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Gurjeet wants to break this cycle of poverty and dreams of becoming an engineer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer, cricket, and board games. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, chicken and chapatti (an Indian bread).
Gurjeet comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday. Gurjeet needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other important needs such as shoes and school lunches.
