About Gloriya Micheal
Hi, my name is Gloriya and I come from a good Christian family. We are a family of Gypsies and my parents do labor work. They are not educated and we have moved all over India. Before the pandemic attack and lockdown, we were living in the suburbs of Hyderabad where my parents were working as factory laborers. But when the lockdown started they were continuously unemployed and not paid at all. So eventually like many village people who worked in different parts of the country, they had no income to pay the rent or feed the family so they decided to come back to their home village and live with my father’s parents. It was a huge adjustment but they lovingly embraced us. My parents decided that the world situation is so uncertain that it is better to live with loved ones so at least we survive with each other’s support. Now our future is uncertain because my parent can't get jobs every day. We have always heard about the generous and godly act of Mid India Christian Mission where they reach out with Christ-like love to make a person reach their highest potential in life through encouragement, proper molding, and the best education through Christ’s love and teaching. We came to The Mercy Home and witnessed it firsthand.
God is so good! They accepted me to live at The Mercy Home! Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity that has given me this opportunity. You have truly given me hope, dignity, and a future! Thank you!!
I like reading and doing crafts. I enjoy Soccer and Ludo (an Indian game). I love chicken curry and Indian bread Chapatti. Winter is my favorite season and orange is my favorite color. Thank you again and God bless you!!
