About Gayatri Yadav
Gayatri Yadav lives with her grandparents, two brothers and two sisters in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is wet and experiences drought seasons. The village is located in a mountainous area in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home.
Both of her parents are low-wage laborers; they often travel from place to place in search of a job. Gayatri helps her grandparents with fetching water, cooking meals, and household chores. Gayatri wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys playing, soccer, badminton, and kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and chapatti.
Please pray for Gayatri; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Gayatri needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
