About Deepika Kaur

Deepika lives with her parents, grandparents, and two sisters in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in North-West India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon seasons. Their hut is located in a valley. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.

Deepika helps with household chores as best she can. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Deepika wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys singing and reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and board games. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, and chapatti.

Please pray for Deepika as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Deepika needs your help to provide her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
