About Deepak Kumar

Deepak lives in a very remote village located in a mountainous area in West India. The climate in this village is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. Deepak comes from a poor family of five. He has two brothers. His father is a farm laborer and his mother is a housewife. They live in a small hut made of mud and sticks.

Deepak loves to go to school. He wants to become a photographer when he grows up. Deepak helps his parents with household chores. In his spare time, Deepak enjoys playing games with his friends. Rice and lentils are a staple throughout India and he loves to eat them. Deepak needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other important needs such as shoes and school lunches.
