About Deepak Ahari
Deepak is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents, his brother Tara, and his sister Jeeja in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, they don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is about two kilometers from their home which means gathering water each day is very laborious and time-consuming.
His parents have a little farm on the small field by their hut. Deepak helps with gardening, fetching water, and tending livestock. Deepak wants to become a preacher one day. He loves to read and sing. He also enjoys playing cricket and kho-kho. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice. Deepak comes from a devoted Christian family; they attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, read the Bible and pray together daily. Deepak needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Deepak!
