About Bhupendra Kumar Ahari
Bhupendra Kumar Ahari is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents and one sister in a small mud hut. The family doesn't have access to electricity and they use wood as fuel to cook their meals, they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
His father is an unskilled laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Bhupendra helps with gardening and tending livestock. Bhupendra wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys singing, dancing, and reading along with playing kho-kho. His favorite foods are rice, vegetables, and chicken. Bhupendra comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Bhupendra needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Bhupendra!
