About Baljeet Kaur
Baljeet Kaur lives with her parents, two brothers and two sisters in a mud hut in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located in the plains. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 50 meters from their home.
Baljeet helps with cooking the family meals and doing household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Baljeet wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing, singing and reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken and chapatti.
Please pray for Baljeet as she comes from a Sikh family with no believers. Baljeet needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
