About Arpit Kharadi
Arpit is from a small village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and droughts. He lives in a small mud-hut together with her parents, his brother Naresh, and his sister Mariyam. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home; this means getting the most basic necessity is a difficult and time-consuming task.
Arpit comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. His father is an unskilled laborer; he works at construction sites and in agricultural fields for a little pay. His mother is a homemaker. Arpit helps his mother around the house with household chores even though he is very young. Arpit aspires to become a doctor one day. He enjoys dancing, singing, and playing Sitollia, a traditional Indian game with his siblings. His favorite foods are dal, rice, chicken, and chapatti. Arpit needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Arpit!
