About Aparna Dhaloviya

Aparna is from a remote village in Western India. This area is located in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. Aparna lives in a small brick and concrete house with her parents, her brothers Ashirwad and Ankit, and her sister Rina. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home, which makes getting water every day laborious and time-consuming.

Aparna comes from a very dedicated Christian family. Her father is a village preacher, he often travels to the surrounding communities to visit believers and to evangelize. He receives a very small income from his ministry, so to help support the family, his wife works as an unskilled laborer. Aparna helps her parents with household chores. Aparna wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho, an Indian game that is similar to a team-based tag. Her favorite foods are rice, chicken, chapatti, and mutton. Aparna needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Aparna!
