About Ankit Dhaloviya

Ankit is from a remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. Ankit lives in a small brick and concrete house with his parents, his brother Ashirwad, and his sisters Rina and Aparna. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home, which makes getting water every day laborious and tedious.

Ankit comes from a very dedicated Christian family. His father is a village preacher, he often travels to the surrounding communities to visit believers and to evangelize. He receives a very small income from his ministry, so to help support the family, his wife works as an unskilled laborer. Ankit helps with household chores, fetching water, gardening, tending livestock, and babysitting siblings. Ankit wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading and singing, as well as playing sports like soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti. Ankit needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Ankit!
