About Anju Sukhram
Anju lives in a small village in Central India. There she lives with her grandparents, parents and three siblings, one brother and two sisters. Together they live in a mud hut. Her parents are village farmers and live very minimally. Often, Anju walks with her siblings to the village well to fetch water for her family.
Anju enjoys playing outside with her friends in the village. Her favorite food is rice, dal (lentils), and roti (flat bread), which are a staple throughout India. Red is her favorite color. She would like to be a teacher when she gets older.
