About Anjali Lodhi

In a small village in Northern India, Anjali lives with her parents, grandparents, and two sisters. During the summer, the village experiences intense heat and dense humidity brought on by the monsoon rains. The family lives in a small brick and mud house. Unlike many in their village, they are fortunate to have electricity in their home. The well from which they collect water is located close to their house. Anjali's family burns propane, wood, and cow pies to cook their food.

Anjali often helps her mother by taking care of her younger siblings. Despite her young age, Anjali takes her younger sister to school with her so they can both attend while their parents are working. Her father works as a farmer while her mother is employed intermittently doing small labor jobs. To provide for her school fees, books, uniform, school bag, and other essentials, Anjali needs your help. She aspires to be a doctor in the future. She enjoys reading, painting, drawing, and playing badminton. Her favorite food is milk. Although they still practice their traditional Hindu religion, the family is interested in exploring Christianity. Please pray that Anjali and her family will continue to pursue the God of the Bible.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Anjali!
