Anjali comes from a poor family of first-generation Christian parents. Her father is an autorickshaw driver and her mother is a housewife. She has two brothers and five sisters. Because they are the only Christian family in that colony, they face persecution and many difficulties.
Anjali's parents heard about Mercy Home and wanted to give Anjali and her sister, Pinkee, a good education in a safe, Christian atmosphere. They feel so blessed that they were accepted into the Mercy Home. Anjali is so happy to have the opportunity to live together with her sister in the safe and godly environment of Mercy Home!
Anjali loves singing praise and worship songs and enjoys her studies. She wants to become a teacher. Her favorite sport is ludo. She loves eating chicken biryani (special delicacy rice) and chicken curry. Back home she would eat chicken only on rare, special occasions, but at Mercy Home she gets to eat it much more often together with many other nutritious foods.
Please pray that Anjali matures in her walk with Christ and becomes a strong pillar for His kingdom.
