About Anamika Baiga
Anamika Baiga lives with her parents and four sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Anamika helps her parents with household chores. Her parents are unskilled low wage laborers; they work hard to provide for their big family. Understanding the value of education, Anamika loves going to school and dreams of becoming a doctor one day. In her spare time, Anamika enjoys playing outdoors with her siblings and friends, her favorite game is badminton. Her favorite food is dal (lentils).
Please pray for Anamika; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Anamika needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
