About Alwin Masih
Alwin Masih lives with his parents and one sister in a brick and mud house in a small village in Central India. The village is located near a river where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 200 meters from their home.
Alwin helps his parents with gardening. Alwin wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Alwin comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Alwin needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
