About Alisa Pagare
Alisa's family is going through a very difficult time. Sadly, her father died six months ago. Her mother is a homemaker without many skills or education. Alisa has three brothers and two sisters. One of their brothers is severally challenged; he can't talk or hear and has some rare skin disease too. Because of the poverty, Alisa gets her older brother's hand-me-down clothes, so she is often dressed like a boy.
It is an extremely difficult task for a widowed mother to take care of all of these children. Through their local preacher she has learned of the Mercy Home. Alisa and her older sister, Ruppal, are extremely grateful to be admitted to Mercy Home! Alisa dreams to become a doctor and help sick people like her brother.
Alisa loves drawing. She likes rice, dal (split pea soup), and chapatti. She also likes chicken which is a very special treat for them.
Thank you for giving Alisa an opportunity to live at the Mercy Home, to grow as a beautiful child of God, and to have Hope, Dignity and a Future!
