About Akhilesh Pal
Akhilesh Pal lives with his parents and two sisters in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Akhilesh helps his parents with household chores. His father is a farmer while his mother is a low-wage laborer. Akhilesh wants to become a teacher one day. He loves to read and sing and enjoys playing cricket with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chicken.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Akhilesh and his family. Akhilesh needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
