About Aarti Kol
My name is Aarti. My family lives in a small tribal village. Our tribe is known as the “Kol” because we work in coal mines. My parents are also coalmine laborers. My father is now trying to learn how to drive so he will be able to drive coal trucks and maybe make a little more money. We do not have a middle school close to my village and without it, I did not have a chance for completing my education. But I do not want to end up working in the coal mines without education like my parents. I dream of becoming a nurse and being able to help others. We heard about The Mercy Home and I have been praying that I will be selected and to live at The Mercy Home. I know I am a child of God and He will take care of me.
Praise God! I have been accepted to The Mercy Home and I love it! This is only possible because of your love, prayers, and generosity to me! You have given me the gift of hope, dignity, and a future. Thank you!!
I love my new school. In my free time, I enjoy playing Chess and Ludo with my new friends. I love dancing. I enjoy all kinds of food. White is my favorite color. I love my family and want to do something significant for them. God bless you!!
