About Aakash Deepchand

Aakash Deepchand was transferred to MH for Boys, his new ID # MB0053-DM.
Also, his name was changed to Aakash Ahirwalto match his legal ID documents. (Deepchand is his father's first name.)
Aakash lives with his parents, grandmother, one brother, and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the plains where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. Much of the time his grandmother watches over him, as his parents are laborers, forcing them to travel from town to town looking for jobs.
Aakash loves to help; besides the regular household chores, he helps fetching water from the village well and bringing groceries from the market. He enjoys studying and loves to dance. His favorite game is carrom. His favorite food is a staple across India: rice and dal (lentils). His favorite color is blue.
Aakash wants to become a doctor one day. Please Pray for Aakash; his name means "Sky" and we hope, sky will be the limits for this young boy who wants to study and become a doctor. Aakash needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
