About Nitin Choudhary
Nitin lives with his parents and two brothers, Vipin and Nitesh. They live in a small, poor village in Central India. Their home is a one-room mud hut near a river. His father is a tailor and his mom is a homemaker. Nitin helps by gathering wood and cow pies that his mom uses as fuel to cook on, he helps carry jugs to the village well, over 500 meters away, for their daily use of water, and helps handwash dishes and clothes for the family.
Nitin dreams of being a teacher. He enjoys reading, dancing, and playing badminton with his friends. The family lives on a very modest diet of dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati, an Indian flatbread. Sometimes they get to enjoy fish if their dad can catch one from the river and, on special occasions, they will kill a chicken and have chicken curry.
Please pray for Nitin and his family, they are first-generation Christians and often face persecution from extremist Hindus. They enjoy praying and reading their Bible every day and attend church weekly. Your sponsorship provides education to Nitin, school supplies, lunch, clothes and shoes, and other basic needs.
