About Raju Singh
Raju lives with his parents, one brother, and two sisters in a small mud hut in a village in Central India. The village is located near a river and in the jungle. The climate in this region is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 500 meters from their home.
Raju helps with household chores. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Raju wants to become a lawyer one day. He enjoys reading. In his spare time, Raju loves to play cricket with his classmates. His favorite foods are chicken and chapatti.
Raju comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Raju needs your help and support in providing for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
