About Laxmi Kumar
Laxmi lives with her parents, three brothers, and one sister in a small brick and mud house in a remote village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well close to their house so they do not have to carry their water too far.
Laxmi helps with household chores. Her father is a low-wage laborer, while her mother is a homemaker. Laxmi wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and chapatti. Please pray for Laxmi; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Laxmi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
