About Sanju Kharadi
Sanju lives with his parents, two brothers, and a sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley, where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They do not have electricity. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
His father is an unskilled low-wage laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Sanju helps her with household chores and tending the livestock. Sanju wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys playing carom, an Indian board game. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Sanju comes from a Christian family; they enjoy going to church each Sunday. Sanju needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sanju!
