About Ankit Prasad
Ankit lives with his uncle and aunt, and one sister in a small mud hut in a village in Central India. The village is located in the plains where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. His parents live and work in another area trying to provide for their family. They visit their children when they can. They are very poor.
Ankit helps a lot around the house; besides the regular household chores, he helps fetching water and washing clothes. He loves to play cricket with his friends in the village. Blue is his favorite color. He loves to eat meat, especially fish, with rice and roti (flatbread). He enjoys studying and loves to dance. Ankit wants to become a teacher one day. Ankit needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
