About Yash Khokhariya
Yash lives with his parents and one sister in a small brick and mud house in a remote village in the mountains of Western India. This area experiences intense heat and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
His father is an unskilled low-wage laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Yash helps her with household chores and taking care of his younger siblings. Yash wants to become a lawyer one day. He loves to read and sing and enjoys playing cricket. His favorite foods are rice, vegetables, chicken, and chapatti.
Yash comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, and pray together daily. Yash needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Yash!
