My precious Sponsor, thank you so much for sponsoring me at The Mercy Home from the 9th grade. I came from a small, poor village and my father is a laborer so I had never seen a beautiful setup like the Mercy Home. Initially, it was a lot of adjustment for me. I had to learn so many things, but gradually it became home because here love and graciousness so freely flows without any expectation except that we grow in the Lord and study well to make a better future for ourselves. That is amazing!!
At home we have to collect wood to cook food and do a lot of chores, but here we get great food without any hassle. At home my job was also to carry water for over a ½ mile for all our house needs, but here we have 24 hours of free-flowing water!! I loved participating in our daily morning and evening devotions and getting great presents for birthdays, Christmas, and Easter – Thank you! We also do carol singing at Christmas which is fun.
I have studied well and hope to get good grades on my graduation results. I want to go to an Engineering college which is expensive and I can’t do it without sponsorship. The cost is $150 a month, which includes my room and board, all my tuition, books and supplies, plus my school uniform. My parents are financially not capable. They barely survive. During this pandemic lockdown we could not live without your generous help which really helped a lot for the whole family. We are much grateful.
I would be much obliged if you can sponsor me for my further education. I am praying about this situation. May God’s will be done.
