About Vanaih Jacob
Vanaih Jacob lives with his parents and his sister, Sharlin Jacob, in a brick and concrete house in the plains of Central India. The climate in this town is very warm in the summer, with monsoon rains, and cooler in the winter months with a possible drought season. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals, and wood as needed. The water well the family uses is close to their home.
Vanaih helps his family with household chores. His father is a clerk and his mother works at the Mercy Home for girls. Vanaih dreams of becoming a doctor one day. He enjoys singing and reading along with playing the Indian board game called carom and enjoys playing cricket with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and mutton (goat).
Vanaih comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. As a family, they read the Bible and pray together daily. Your support will provide school fees, school uniforms, books, backpack, and other needs such as shoes and an umbrella.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Vanaih!
