About Urmila Baiga
Urmila Baiga lives with her parents, three brothers, and three sisters in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 200 meters from their home.
Urmila helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Urmila wants to become a lawyer one day. She enjoys reading. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Although Urmila and her family are still Hindu, they are attending church each Sunday and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Urmila and her family. Urmila needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Urmila!
