About Titariya Bheel
Titariya Bheel is from a tribal family that lives deep in the jungle, in a remote village in Central India. He comes from a large family of his parents, two brothers, and a sister. The area they live in is so remote that they have no electricity, no running water, no roads or toilets. They have to walk two miles every day to gather water for all their daily needs. They live a subsistence lifestyle, gathering produce from the jungle and growing some food on a small patch of land by their hut, totally depending on the rainwater for irrigation.
Titariya comes from a Christian family, which makes them vulnerable to persecution and ostracism from their community. His parents want Titariya to live in a safe place to get a good education and grow spiritually.
Titariya was so happy to join the Mercy Home family! He loves to study and enjoys reading. He aspires to become a teacher one day. In his spare time, Titariya enjoys playing soccer with his new friends. His favorite foods are rice, lentils, vegetables, meat, and chapatti. Please pray for Titariya as he is trying to get used to the new life in the city.
Thank you for helping to provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future for Titariya!
